Welcome to the Little Backpack web site! My name is Erisa; I own and operate a Connecticut state licensed daycare in Thomaston.
My daycare facility is in a private setting, in a completely dedicated level of the house separate from where I live, and is pet and smoke free with a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.
My program enrolls only a small number of children, which enables me to
provide individual attention to your precious little ones!
CPR/First Aid certified
Nutritious Breakfast,Lunch and Snack included
Fenced-in back yard for outside play
Before and After School Care
- 3 months old to 10 year old children
- A daily report sent home with each child
Your child will participate in developmentally-appropriate activities throughout the day, such as:
- Story Time
- Puzzles and Games
- Arts and Crafts
- Music and movement
- Circle time
- Dramatic play
- Outdoor play (Weather Permitting)
- Educational and Entertaining Toys
- Preschool program – 2.5 years and up

son, Tom, has been going to the Little Backpack Family Daycare for
about 2 months now and it was the best decision my husband and I have
made. Erisa is incredible with him. He was upset with us when we left
after first meeting her and seeing her place. He had so much fun, he
wanted to stay. He comes home with projects everytime, and he comes
home tired. He learns and he has alot of fun there. She is a blessing
in disguise. I would recommend her to anyone.
